2010: Competed in all 18 matches for the Cardinals, starting in all but one contest...recorded a team-high six goals, including two game-winners, on 25 total shots.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Saline High School…participated in track and field as well as soccer…earned all-conference, all-region, all-district, and All-State honors…was named Division I Third-Team All-State, first-team all-district, SEC honorable mention, and all-area honorable mention…named Saline High School most valuable player and captain of the varsity squad as well as his club team…helped lead his team to back-to-back SEC championship victories, back-to-back district championships, a regional championship, and a regional runner-up…was a member of the division I state semi-finalist team that was ranked third in the state and 37th in the nation according to ESPN…scored a total of 35 goals in his varsity career, 18 of which came in his senior campaign…earned the National Scholar Baler Award for academic excellence as an athlete (3.25 GPA or higher) twice and was on the honor roll for all four years…major is currently undecided…son of Timothy and Brigitte Walega…born 6/30/1992.
