Alexandra Fowler joined the SVSU men's basketball staff as the team's volunteer Director of Basketball Operations in 2025.

Prior to this position, she served four years as the Chief of Staff/Director of Basketball Operations for Northern Arizona men’s basketball. She managed the operating budget, coordinated team travel, and organized special events, in addition to serving as the liaison between the coaching staff and the internal and external departments.

Fowler arrived in Flagstaff following six years at Michigan State in a variety of roles, including the Director of Operations for the Spartans' men's and women's soccer teams and the Sport Operations Coordinator, where she assisted the executive staff in oversight of all 25 varsity sports. Fowler began her career at Michigan State as a graduate assistant with the Michigan State women's basketball team.

Elected a team captain her freshman year, Fowler was a four-year student-athlete at Saginaw Valley State University and helped lead her team to a North Division GLIAC Championship in her final season. As an active member on campus, she served as the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and as a member on the Gender Equity Committee and the Student Association President's Cabinet.

Fowler graduated summa cum laude from Saginaw Valley State in 2016 and received her masters from Michigan State in 2017.

Fowler works full time as a Director of Operations for Optimal Performance - a mental performance and mental health company. She is married to Chris Fowler, and the pair has two children, Christopher and Kylar.
