BAY CITY, Mich. - Nate Kelly (Suttons
Bay, Mich.), a senior on the Saginaw Valley State University men's
golf team, has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference "Athlete of the Week", it was announced by the
conference office.
Kelly claimed medalist honors over the weekend at the 2010 Lake
Superior State University Invitational, held at the Oaks Golf
Course in Kincheloe, Mich. Kelly carded rounds of 71-72 (-1)
to win the tournament by three strokes for his first-career
collegiate victory, helping the Cardinals to a fifth-place
finish.
