2012: Played in 29 of 30 matches for SVSU at the libero and defensive specialist positions...named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention...ranked 15th in digs this season with 218 in conference play (304 overall) and was 2nd on the team...also recorded 15 service aces as a co-captain of the Lady Cardinals.
2011: Competed in 29 matches for Saginaw Valley...recorded 175 digs as a defensive specialist...added two kills and 28 assists on the season for the Cardinals.
2010: Played in 24 matches for the Cardinals, 82 total sets...posted 141 digs as the defensive specialist.
2009: Appeared in 44 sets and in 21 total matches...had 76 digs and 14 service aces while adding nine assists on the season.
Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Lakewood High School...participated in varsity basketball and volleyball...received five varsity letters...was named all-Barry county for basketball and also lead her team as a captain to a league title...named all-Barry county, all-conference, all-league, and all-region for volleyball...was also All-State and class Valedictorian her senior year...lead the volleyball team as a captain her senior year to the elite eight and was a member of the team her sophomore year that fought its way to the final four...member of National Honors Society, student council, the youth advisory committee, the Spanish, science, and art clubs, 4-H, and Fall of Christian Athlete...was the president of the varsity club and was the U.S. Marine Corps Academic Athlete of the Year...majoring in pre-dental...daughter of Gary and Nancy Mattson...born 1/22/91.
