UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University senior Olivia Elliott (Baroda, Mich. / Berrien Springs HS) was named the GLIAC Softball Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Elliott finished 3-for-5 with six RBI in the sweep over Davenport this past week. She hit a home run for both of her at-bats in game one that drove in four runs in the 12-2 win. In game two, she went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Her lone hit came in the third inning when she hit a single to right field that scored two runs and tied the game.

This is the second conference player of the week award of Elliott's career, the first one this season.
