2013-14: Indoor: set a season-best of 1:52.84 in the 800m to take 1st at the GVSU Tune Up...competed in the 800m at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships, taking 6th with a time of 1:54.69...also was a member of the 4X4 Relay and Distance Medley Relay teams at the GLIAC Indoor Championships, taking 6th (3:22.47) and 7th (10:26.45), respectively. Outdoor: took 2nd in the GVSU vs. SVSU 1500m race with a career best time of 4:02.88...recorded a new career-best of 1:55.52 in the 800m at the Hillsdale Classic to take 2nd...competed in the GLIAC Outdoor Championships, taking 7th in the 800m race with a time of 1:53.47.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Holt High School under coach Dave Foy...earned eight varsity letters in track and field and cross country...senior year in 800m run was conference champion, regional champion, Mid-Michigan honor roll champion and turned in fastest time of all divisions in Michigan (1:51.9)...was state champion in the 800m run with a 1:53.36 and state qualifier in the 4x800m run...finished second in the 800m run at the Midwest Meet of Champions and fourth at the AAU Junior Olympics...junior year placed eighth in the state 4x400m relay race...in cross country finished fifth in the conference with a 16:46...majoring in exercise science/veterinary medicine...was a five-time CAAC all-conference academic...son of Gary and Annette Middleton...born 3/11/95.
