Biography

2013: Played in 19 games for the Cardinals and started 11 as a defender...posted one assist and one point on the season...tallied 10 shots and three shots on goal during his junior campaign.

2012: Participated in 22 matches for SVSU, while starting in 20 of them as a defender...posted one assist as a fiesty defender for the Cardinals in their National Semifinal victory over No. 2 Simon Fraser, six shots including one on goal.

2011: Played in 19 games for the Cardinals, starting in two of them...recorded one assist and five shots on the season as a defensemen. 

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Stephenson High School…named all-district two times, and all-region and third team All-State one time…helped lead his team to a KLAA Championship, a district championship, and a regional championship…was a member of the state finalist team and named team captain…helped his travel team to a regional, state, and national championship…major is undecided…son of Kelly and Tricia Cooney…born 11/25/92.
