2009-10: Appeared in ten games for SVSU…went one-for-four from the hardwood for a .250 shooting average…posted three rebounds, one steal and one assist on the season...averaged 3.0 minutes per game.

2008-09: Redshirt for 2008-09 season.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Houghton High School... under Coach Jason Carter, he helped lead his team to one regional and two district championships... two time first team all-conference... U.P. all-area team, U.P. dream team and 2008 U.P. player of the year... Class C All-State first team... senior class officer...majoring in international business... son of Jonathan Beck and Jennifer Strand...born 02/14/90.
