2008-09: Started in all 26 games for the Cardinals...averaged 8.3 points per contest while racking up 215 throughout the season...was second on the team with a .580 shooting percentage from the floor, connecting on 83 shots...finished the season with a .754 free throw percentage by sining 49 of 65 from the line...ranked third on the team by grabbing a season total of 118 rebounds giving him an average of 4.5 per game...led the Cardinals in offensive rebounding with 41 as well as blocked shots with 35...tallied 13 assists and 13 steals while averaging 26.4 minutes per game.

2007-08: Started in 13 of 25 games played last year... averaged 18.8 minutes per game... he scored 3.8 points per game and shot 50.7 percent from the field... grabbed a total of 70 rebounds, an average of 2.8 rebounds per game... had his season high of ten rebounds at Northern Mich. on 2/16/08.

2006-07: Played in eight games during the 2006-07 season...had one of the highest free-throw percentages on the team at 83 percent...shot 40 percent from the floor during the season.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Freemont Ross under head Coach Mark Gedeon...helped the team win the Greater Buckeye Conference Championship...won the Greater Buckeye Conference Championship Player of the Year Award in senior season...was named first team all-district... averaged 17.7 ppg and 8.1 rpg as a senior...set a school record for field goal percentage by shooting 67 percent from the floor...passed Charles Woodson for the third all-time on the Freemont-Ross career scoring charts...scored a season high 26 points three times during the season and had four double-doubles...was first team Northwest Ohio, division 1...was the team's MVP and Captain...son of Peggy and Charles Gries.
