Steve Parham begins his first season as a member of the first cardinal men's basketball coaching staff under head coach Chris Fowler.
Parham joins SVSU after serving as the assistant coach at Dearborn Divine Child High School. During the summer, Parham spent time coaching with The Family EYBL program out of Detroit.
He was also an assistant coach at Michigan Collegiate during the 2022-23 season, where he helped lead the team to a Charter League Division and League Championship.
Parham served as the GA Coach for Lindenwood University men's basketball team and spent three years coaching at Detroit Country Day High School.
During his time at Country Day, Parham helped lead the Yellowjackets to a district title. Parham was heavily involved in the player development aspect of the program, leading most of the individual workouts and spending countless hours in the gym developing players.
Parham received his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Central Michigan University. He and his wife, Kim Parham, have two children, Steven Parham Jr. and London Parham.
