Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Lansing Waverly High School...spent the majority of the 2007 season on defense and earned all-conference as a cornerback...in 2008, switched to offense and caught 38 passes totaling 715 yards and seven touchdowns, earning all-conference...carried the ball 19 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns...on defense, totaled 48 tackles and three interceptions...had a stand-out performance in the homecoming game where he totaled 404 all-purpose yards and an interception...was also a member of the track team where he was a state-qualifier in the 200 meter dash, running 22.8 in his first year in competition...majoring in business...son of Rodney and Teresa Sumptor...born 06/19/91.
