2014: Competed in 36 games for the Cardinals, starting in 31 of them...batted .318 with an on-base percentage of .419 and a slugging percentage of .430 during his junior year...led the team in homeruns (2) and was fourth with 21 runs batted in...recorded 34 hits, six doubles, 20 runs and one stolen base...tallied 261 putouts with 10 assists and a .985 fielding percentage while playing first base...had a season-high three hits three times...went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, one homerun and one RBI in a 8-2 victory over Hillsdale (Apr. 23)...named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2013: Competed in 11 games for Saginaw Valley and started three...went 3-for-16 at the plate with a double, an RBI, a run and a walk during his sophomore campaign...had a season-high two-hit game with a double and a run in a win at Lake Erie (Apr. 6).

2012: Participated in 13 games for the Cardinals in a pinch-hit role...tallied a .286 batting average four hits, two runs and five RBI's for the scrappy first-year player...named to GLIAC All-Academic team.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Valley Lutheran High School under Coach Kurt Hofmeister…played baseball, soccer, football and basketball in high school...earned four varsity letters in baseball, four varsity letters in football, and two varsity letters in soccer…majoring in health science...son of Kevin and Dorothy Kaufmann…born 2/12/92.
