Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Chippewa Hills HS under coach Ben Wright...senior year recorded a 10-3 record with a 1.21 ERA...transferred from Muskegon Community College and played under coach Cap Pohlman where they went 42-14 in 2011...recorded a 5-4 record with a 2.00 ERA in 2011...majoring in Computer Science...son of Jeff and Rita Wernette...born 6/3/1991.
