• Transfer from Delta College after his sophomore year
• Apart of the 2017 Regional and Super-Regional winnig team in DC's history. They went on the finish fifth in the country
• Selected as an Honorable Mention All-League pick after being named to the 2nd team in 2016
• On the season, Marais hit .314 in the conference while collecting a team record 47 RBI overall
• Appeared in every game for Delta in 2017, becoming the first player in program history to do so
• He was also selected to the Region XII team as an outfielder.
• Played high school baseball for hall of fame coach Luke Epple
• Earned two letters in high school, both on the varsity baseball team
• Named All-District in 2013 and 2014 while winning the team hitting award both seasons
• Named to the Saginaw News Dream Team in 2014 and 1st Team All Saginaw Valley League while hitting .402 with 41 hits and 39 RBI
• Favorite baseball memory was winning the state championship in high school with Mt Pleasant his senior year
• Majoring in Sports Management
