Made his Division II debut on February 13 against Lewis... Pitched 2.2 innings and recorded his first career strikeout... Had his first scoreless appearance on March 29 against Parkside.

Played two seasons at Grand Rapids Community College as the Raiders won back-to-back conference championships... Appeared in 25 games with 13 starts and finished with a 7-5 record... Totaled three complete games, two shutouts, and a save... Pitched 82.2 innings and struck out 95 batters.
