AVCA RELEASE

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team joined over 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball teams as a recipient of the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award Sponsored by INTENT.

Team Academic honors are awarded to teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

The Cardinals finished the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.516. SVSU has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award six out of the last seven seasons and 11 times overall.
