Tyler McLaren has started strong for Saginaw Valley State University baseball with two wins in his first two starts. His performance Friday against Maryville University earned him GLIAC Pitcher of the Week. McLaren pitched five innings, striking out seven and allowed one run. Through his first two starts, he's struck out 14 through 11 innings and has a 0.82 ERA. McLaren and the Cardinals look to continue their hot performances in Florida this week.
