UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball alumnus and 2016 SVSU Hall of Fame member Bill Vitti '92 has pledged a dollar-for-dollar match of the first $5,000 in contributions to the men's basketball program in a Year-End appeal that lasts through December 31, 2022.

"I truly believe in what the Cards are building in their program," commented Bill Vitti. "Together, we can assist Coach Baruth and the team by providing competitive resources for them to reach new heights and sustain success in the program."

The SVSU men's basketball program, with the help of its supporters, hopes to use the $10,000 from this effort to continue the goal of graduating quality young men from the program and compete toward conference and national championships.

"It's truly difficult for us to express in words the gratitude and appreciation we have for Bill and other contributors who provide financial support for SVSU Men's Basketball!" said Head Coach Randy Baruth.
