UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2021 Collegiate Academic Awards with several Saginaw Valle State University student-athletes making the list of honorees.

SVSU totaled 17 USTFCCCA NCAA DII All-Academic Athletes (12 women, five men), while both the men and women earned All-Academic Team awards.

Criteria for the All-Academic Athlete honor includes a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale, 24 credit hours completed, and the achievement of an automatic or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) for either the indoor season or outdoor season. For the All-Academic Team award, a program must have a combined GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
