UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The final regular-season two-game series of 2021 for the Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team has been canceled, it was announced Friday.
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series against Davenport University scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the James E. O'Neill Jr. Arena has been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Davenport program. There are no plans for the contests to be made up.
SVSU will compete next in the GLIAC Postseason Tournament opening round on Tuesday. The opponent, location, and time are to be determined.
