UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Saginaw Valley State University Track & Field and Cross Country programs are set to release their All-Decade Team when the new year hits. We will be releasing the top performances for each year every day until January 1 when the All-Decade Team is announced. 

Third on our list for 2012 and the top performance of that season for the Cardinals is Alycia Wright. Wright, who is a native of Macomb, Michigan and was a mid-distance runner for SVSU, earned four All-American honors during her career. Alycia performed well in the classroom as well, being named to the USTFCCCA national All-Academic team. 

Top Performance of 2012 - Alycia Wright

Alycia Wright collected three individual and one relay All-American honors during the Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons. During the Indoor season, Wright led the women's DMR relay team to an 8th place finish, followed by her 6th place finish in the 800m. During the Outdoor season, she earned a pair of 6th place finishes in the 800m and 1500m.
