UNIVERSITY CENTER -- SVSU Men's Basketball Head Coach Randy Baruth has announced the signing of DJ Hoskins (Dayton, Ohio / Thurgood Marshall HS) to the program. The 6-0 guard will join the Cardinals for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Hoskins is a native of Dayton, Ohio and prepped at Thurgood Marshall High School. He spent this past year at Victory Rock Prep in Florida. In high school, he was named the Dayton City League Player of the Year, Division Two District 15 Player of the Year, First Team Southwest Ohio and First Team All-State. He was a four-year varsity player and made the Superintendent's List all four years. Hoskins plans on majoring in entrepreneurship at SVSU.
