BAY CITY, Mich. - SVSU men's soccer senior forward Jordan Kalk has been named the week one Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's soccer offensive player of the week.

Kalk, the team's leading goal-scorer from a year ago, picked up right where he left off to begin the 2016 campaign. He recorded the game-winning goal in the team's season opener, a 2-1 victory over Lewis for his first goal. Jordan then added another in the team's 3-1 win over St. Joseph's on Sunday.

The two goals give him 39 for his career, tying him with former teammate Tyler Channell for the all-time record in SVSU history.

The Cardinals get the GLIAC portion of the schedule going on Sunday (Sep. 11), as they play at Northwood University in a 3:30 p.m. matchup in Midland.
