BRADENTON, Fla. - Three of the SVSU track & field team members are traveling to Florida this week to compete in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. The championships will be hosted at IMG Academy in Bradenton from May 26th to the 28th.

For the women's team, Emerald Joiner will be competing in the shot put and is ranked 21st in the nation with a season best throw of 46' 11". She posted the mark at the GVSU Second to Last Chance Meet earlier this month.

Taylor Stepanski is ranked third in the 800 meter run, marking her personal record time of 2:07.02 this season at the Al Owens Open.

Robert Atwater is tied at sixth in the nation in the high jump with a season best mark of 6' 11", which he posted at the Al Owens Open.
