UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University Men's Soccer Head Coach Andy Wagstaff has officially announced the signing of four student-athletes who are slated to join the Cardinals for the 2016 season. "Our staff feels like we have signed one of Michigan's top 2016 recruits in Roddy Green. An outstanding young man with electric pace and a knack for scoring goals. Roddy will be a key addition to the SVSU men's soccer team. He has the "X" factor when it comes attacking soccer. He is good as a back to goal target striker but plays equally as well as a winger out wide on the flanks. This versatility will help Roddy and the team in 2016. Also, Roddy is equally determined when it comes to defending, which is crucial for an SVSU program that believes in high pressing the opponent high up the field when not in possession. In addition to being a very talented soccer player, Roddy has a character and personality that will light up the locker room. He is an extremely likable and charismatic young man and we are thrilled to have him join our program!"

Bjion Campbell

"Bjion comes to SVSU from Owens Community College with an associate's degree and will be able to play for two years for us. Originally from Jamaica, Bjion has lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since he was 12 years old. As a club soccer standout wiht Margate in Florida, he gained national attention from both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. During Bjion's time at Owens, he notched 18 goals and 15 assists and earned all-conference and all-region honors. From a characteristic standpoint, Bjion brings a goal scoring, back to goal target style. He is a good finisher and makes smart runs to unbalance the opponent defense. We are thrilled to add Bjion to our strike force for the 2016 season!"

Connor Keane

"Connor comes to SVSU with an outstanding career already established in England. He played for two clubs that I also had the pleasure of playing for when I was his age in Bury Football Club and Wigan Athletic, which are both in League One in England. Under contract with Wigan, Connor played over 10 games in under-21 team which is one level below the first professional team. He also got called up for the International level as a stand by for the U-17 Republic of Ireland team back in 2013 in Austria. Very few players, especially goalkeeprs, can get to this level in England. We are extremely excited to welcome him to SVSU!"

"Jahmall comes to SVSU with a great playing background! He was born in Jamaica but currently resides in Queens, New York. He brings an athletic element to our team with a powerful physique and a hard tackling mentality. He will be responsible for dictating the tempo of the game from deeper in the build up, winning ground and aerial battles as well as being a player that will add some steel to an already technically-excellent midfield lineup. We are very excited to welcome Jahnall to the SVSU men's soccer program for the fall of 2016!"
