BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University junior women's basketball student-athlete Emily Wendling has been honored as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division Player of the Week for the second time this season. 

Wendling had game-highs of 21 points and 14 rebounds, adding a pair of blocks, an assist and a steal in SVSU's 84-54 win at Lake Erie Saturday (Dec. 19) afternoon. She shot 9-of-13 from the floor in her 24 minutes of action.

Wendling continues to lead the GLIAC in scoring (19.8 ppg) and sits fifth with 9.4 rebounds per contest. She also ranks seventh with 1.2 blocks per game. Emily earned the same honor in week two.
