BAY CITY, Mich. - SVSU junior track & field student-athlete Andrew Mudd has been named the Week Two GLIAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Kent State Golden Flashes Gala over the weekend.
Mudd posted a score of 5,262 in the heptathlon, finishing in first place in the event. His score is just 82 points shy of the current school record and is tops in the GLIAC and currently serves as the second-best in the nation.
The 2015 all-american will be back in action with his teammates on Friday, January 15, as the Cardinals host the SVSU Classic at the SVSU Fieldhouse at 2:30 p.m.
