- The SVSU volleyball team host their first weekend home matches of the season this Friday and Saturday against Walsh and Malone.  The Cardinals welcomed Wayne State last Tuesday as their first home match of the season, defeating them 3-0. Last year Saginaw Valley defeated Walsh 3-0 and fell to Malone 3-2.
