UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's basketball team will make the trek north to Houghton, Mich. once more this season to compete in the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Quarterfinals.

SVSU will face-off against the Michigan Tech University Huskies.  The game will take place on Wednesday (Mar. 5) at Tech's SDC Gymnasium with a 5:30 pm tip-off time.  The two teams split this season's series, with SVSU claiming a 63-62 home victory on January 25 and MTU winning at home on February 15 by a 73-63 count.
