The winner of the game will advance to the GLIAC Tournament Championship game on Sunday (11/9) at 1:00 pm.  The first semifinal match-up at 10:00 am on Friday is the #3 seeded Lake Erie Storm against the #2 seed Northwood Timberwolves.

Last season, Saginaw Valley advanced to the 2013 GLIAC Tournament Championship after defeating Walsh (5-2) in the quarterfinals and Tiffin (1-0, OT) in the semifinals.  The Cardinals lost to the top-seeded Ohio Dominican Panthers 2-1 in double-overtime in the championship game.
