The Cardinals and Timberwolves head into the final regular season game of the year seperated by only one point in the standings.  SVSU is 12-2-2 overall and 9-2-2 in the GLIAC while Northwood is 11-3-1 overall and 9-3-1 in GLIAC play this year.  Saginaw Valley and Northwood played to a 0-0 draw in double-overtime earlier this year on September 12th at Braddock Field.

Both teams still have a shot at claiming the GLIAC championship and hosting the GLIAC Tournament as well.  Tiffin is holding onto the top spot in the standings heading into the final game of the regular season with 30 points while SVSU has 29 and Northwood with 28.  Tiffin plays host to Findlay on Friday at 2:00 pm.  A loss or tie by the Dragons would allow the winner of the SVSU-Northwood game to claim at least a share of the championship.
