FRANKENLUST TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University baseball team, along with Head Coach Walt Head, paid a visit to the St. Paul Lutheran School in Frankenlust Township on Friday, November 1st.  

Team members had the opportunity to read to students in first grade through eighth grade.  They also had a chance to help out durning P.E. class.

St. Paul fifth and sixth grade teacher Justin Garcia, an SVSU baseball alumnus, was extremely thankful for the opportunity.  

"The students really enjoyed the visit and loved the time they had with the current members of the SVSU baseball team," said Garcia.  

"It's great anytime we get the opportunity to visit with and help out the people who support our program," said Coach Walt Head.  "It was a great visit and we enjoyed it just as much, if not more, than the students and staff at St. Paul."
