UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University senior Sarah Redoute (Clinton Township, Mich.) has been named GLIAC's Womens Volleyball Player of the Week for her dominant play on the court from September 15-21.

Redoute helped give the Cardinals an overall record of 12-1, and boosted their record to 4-1 in the GLIAC by leading SVSU with 30 kills overall. She reached double-digits in kills in two of the three matches.

In the match against Lake Superior State University on Tuesday (Sept. 16), Redoute was 11-of-23 in attacks averaging .304 percent, as well as a .292 percent attack average against Ashland University on Saturday (Sept. 20). Redoute also had 20 digs, 13 blocks and four aces last week.
