UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The SVSU volleyball team kept rolling as the beat Tiffin University in the schools first meeting as GLIAC foes on the court Friday (Sept. 19) night. The Cardinals took the match in three straight games; 25-20, 25-17 and 25-22.

The Cardinals were lead by Annie Buxton(Auroa, Ont./Aurora SS)with nine kills, three digs and one block. Senior Sarah Redoute (Clinton Twp., Mich. / L'Anse Creuse) also had nine kills , seven digs and an ace in the win. Freshman Katie Fitzgerald (Sinclair, Ont./Sinclair SS) also chipped in with seven kills.

SVSU moves to 11-1 on the season, 3-1 in the GLIAC, while Tiffin falls to 8-5 overall, 0-4 in the GLIAC. SVSU will be back in action on Saturday (Sept. 20) when they host Ashland University at 2:00 pm in GLIAC action.
