Shelley Petoskey joins the Saginaw Valley State Universitysoftball staff as a volunteer coach in 2011. Petoskey was a memberof the SVSU softball team from 1991-1993 where she was named St.Leo All-Tournament and helped the team to the NCAA Final Four in1993.

Petoskey coached at Ida High School where she was namedall-district “Coach of the Year”. She later coached atMilford High School from 2004-2007.

After graduating from Saginaw Valley with a Bachelors of Sciencein Sociology, she started working as a Nursing Home Administrator.Petoskey returned to SVSU in 2010 and earned her Masters of Sciencein Health Leadership.

Petoskey resides in Highland with her husband David and daughterAudrey.
