Saginaw Valley State University

Nolan Genilla joined the SVSU strength and conditioning staff in May of 2022 as an intern. During his internship, he was the head strength coach for men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s golf, women’s soccer, and softball. Genilla transitioned to a Graduate Assistant position in January 2023 after graduating Cum Luade and earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from SVSU in December 2022. He is currently the head strength coach for men’s and women’s track and field, women’s soccer, and softball while assisting with football, volleyball, and cross country.

Genilla is a former Cardinal student-athlete from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who came to SVSU in 2017 as a member of the football team.
