Mike Woody is the Executive Director of the Midland CommunityTennis Center.  As the Executive Director, Mike leads a castof team members who are delivering creative tennis programs throughinnovative marketing and communication tactics. His managing of a32 court tennis complex (16 indoor/ 16 outdoor) involves directingthe longest standing USTA Pro Circuit Women’s Event, overseerof 20 National, Sectional, Collegiate, and local events. Mike ishighly involved in the tennis industry, he is a USTA RecreationalMaster Trainer, serves on the National Speakers Team for CardioTennis. In 2005 be was awarded the National USPTA Facility Managerof the Year, he also received the USPTA/USTA National CommunityService Award for excellence in grassroots and tennis growth in2004. In 2009 received the TIA/ PTR Industry Involvement Award forcommitment and excellence in the tennis industry. In 2011, Mike wasawarded the USPTA Midwest Pro of the Year.

Tennis is an important part of the Woody Family, both hisdaughter Meghan and son Austin were Michigan High School State TeamChampions in Tennis in 2009, with the Boys repeating in 2010. Mike was supporting coach for both teams.
