Enters her first season on the SVSU staff. Prior to SVSU,she coached at Frankenmuth High School and Hemlock HighSchool. Mayan was an All-State shortstop at Bay City AllSaints High School. Her collegiate career started at MichiganState University and after two years accepted a scholarship toSVSU where she started third base and played for the remainderof her collegiate career. Mayan was a defensivespecialist leading to a golden glove status. Batting second inlineup, the left handed hitter utilized speed and bunthitting to lead the team in hits and runs scored. Mayan madeback to back World Series appearances.
