Ed Skrelunas has joined the SVSU coaching staff for the currentseason after retiring as principal of Clio High School. Skrelunashas served as head coach for track & field and cross country atBridgeport High School, Warren Lincoln High School, Freeland HighSchool and Clio High School. From 1977-83 he served as a part-timeassistant coach at Saginaw Valley State University. During thistime he was involved in recruiting and coaching over 40student-athletes who earned All-American honors in NAIA. The trackand cross country teams gained national recognition during thistime winning the NAIA National Indoor Track Championship in 1982and 1983.

Skrelunas earned a bachelor's degree from Central MichiganUniversity and a master's degree from Michigan State University.Skrelunas resides in Saginaw.
