UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team earned their third GLIAC Player of the Week award as Madi Bajis (Macomb, Mich. / Utica HS) was named Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. The Cardinals outscored their opponents 10-0 this weekend with a 4-0 win over Northern Michigan and a 6-0 win over Michigan Tech. SVSU is tied for second in the GLIAC, two points behind Grand Valley.

Bajis scored three goals this weekend and totaled eight shots, three on goal. The senior midfielder has nine goals on the season, leading the GLIAC in scoring with three more than the next player. Bajis also has three assists for a total of 21 points, leading the GLIAC by eight.

This is Bajis' first GLIAC Player of the Week award. SVSU heads to Roosevelt on Friday, October 24 for a 1:00 PM match this weekend.
