2024 (Freshman)
Jaidyn made a strong impression in her first season, starting 16 of 21 games. She scored two important goals, with her first coming on the road against RV Northern Michigan on October 6. Her second was a clutch game-winner in overtime during the GLIAC Quarterfinals, leading the Cardinals to a 1-0 victory over Purdue Northwest on November 12.
High School
A 2024 graduate of Calvin Christian High School, Jaidyn was a standout on and off the field. She was a National Honors Society member and earned the Michigan Seal of Biliteracy, Scholar Athlete Award, and Language Proficiency Award. Jaidyn helped her team win district titles in 2021, 2023, and 2024, along with a regional championship in 2021. She was named to All-District and All-Conference teams all four years, earned All-Region honors from 2022 to 2024, and was Third Team All-State in 2022 before stepping up to First Team All-State in 2023 and 2024. She also participated in the 2024 MIHSSCA All-Star Game and was recognized as a Grand Rapids Area Player to Watch in 2023 and 2024. Jaidyn set MHSAA records with 37 goals and 52 points in a single season, and holds the career goals record with 91.

Majoring in General Business with a minor in Spanish, Jaidyn was born on April 2, 2006, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is the daughter of Brent and Melissa Veldhouse.
