Four Cardinals Selected to NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship selections were announced on Tuesday (March 3) evening. Xavier Santiago, Dominic Suliman, Andrew Quinn, and Sawyer Moloy were the four Cardinal men who earned their way into the competition field for this year's indoor championship.

Santiago will compete in the men's high jump that takes place on Saturday, March 14 at 4:30 p.m. (ET). He enters the meet tied for the fourth-highest mark in the country after clearing the bar at 2.16m at the Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver meet in early February.

Suliman will run in the men's one-mile race preliminaries set for Friday, March 13, at 3:50 p.m. (ET). His SVSU school record time of 4:01.35 ranks 16th in the country. Suliman set the new record time at the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on January 30.

Andrew Quinn will throw the shot on Saturday, March 14, at 2:45 p.m. (ET). Quinn set a new school record in the event this past weekend at the GLIAC Indoor Championships with an event-winning heave of 18.40m that has him tied for the seventh-best throw in D2.

Moloy will also compete in the men's high jump at the national meet. Moloy cleared the bar at a nation's best 2.18m at the GVSU Big Meet on February 13.

The NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center, beginning Friday, March 13, and concluding on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
