UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University track & field teams are set for the 2021 NCAA DII Outdoor National Championships next week in Allendale, Mich.
The Cardinals will send eight athletes to the event May 27-29, hosted by Grand Valley State University.
The No. 6 rated SVSU women will send six athletes competing in eight events for the three-day event. Qualifiers include Lauren Huebner (400m hurdles), Alona Olshevska (400m dash), Cheyenne Williamson (heptathlon, long jump), Jenna Keiser (3000m steeplechase), and Morgan Fuerst (1500m run).
The women will also send two relay teams with 4x100 including Angelina Delbosque, Huebner, Olshevska, and Williamson. The 4x400 relay team for SVSU will be Huebner, Olshevska, Fuerst, and Williamson.
On the men's side, SVSU will send two athletes to Allendale. Sam Black enters the National meet as the top-rated competitor in the decathlon, while CarLee Stimpfel will compete in the 5,000-meter run.
