EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Saginaw Valley State University swimming and diving had four student-athletes compete on day three of the NCAA Division II National Championships on Thursday. Hadyn Gould and Alvaro Rodriguez swam in the 100-yard butterfly while Lexi Hieber and Carolina Bononi Heinz swam in the 200-yard freestyle at the Deaconess Aquatic Center.
Gould had the best finish, tying for 21st place out of 33 swimmers. He had a personal-best time of 47.63 seconds. Rodriguez finished with a time of 48.42, placing 31st. Hieber took 25th and Bononi Heinz took 35th out of 42 swimmers. The finished with times of 1:51.61 and 1:53.16 respectively.
