Rory Kauffman won GLIAC Diver of the Week while William Hsiao and Carolina Bononi Heinz won the GLIAC Swimmers of the Week awards.

Kauffman broke two program and pool records on Saturday. He scored 334.50 in the 1-meter and 331.05 in the 3-meter dives, smashing both records for the team and the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center records. He took first in both the events right after taking first place in both dives the day before as well.

Hsiao took first in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:18.13) on Friday and first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:35.71) on Saturday. Hsiao also had a third place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (4:34.64) on Friday, helping the men's team to back-to-back wins over Findlay.

Bononi Heinz had a big weekend, breaking the program record in the 200-yard freestyle. She finished the event with a time of 1:50.73 and also had three second place finishes individually and another in the 200-yard medley relay.

This is Kauffman's second GLIAC Athlete of the Week award of his career and the first for both Hsiao and Bononi Heinz. They are the first three awards for the program this season.

The swimming and diving program defeated ranked Findlay programs in both events this weekend. They hit the road on Saturday, heading to Valparaiso. The Cardinals hop back in the pool at 2:00 PM at the Valparaiso Aquatic Center in Valparaiso, Indiana.
