Biography

2012: Saw action in 37 games this season, starting in five for the Cardinals…had four hits and scored seven runs…had a .900 fielding percentage with nine putouts in 10 chances…led the team with 32 appearances off the bench…had one hit in one at-bat against Lees-McRae (Mar. 7).

2011: Appeared in 37 games off the bench for the Cardinals…had eight at-bats with five hits and scored eight runs…led the team with 37 off the bench appearances…recorded one at-bat and scored two runs against Lake Superior State (Apr. 19).

2010: Redshirted.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Armada High School…participated in softball, basketball, and volleyball…was a four-year varsity letter winner in softball and a two-year varsity letter winner in basketball…named BWAC Armada female athlete of the year…lead her team in batting average and was named first team all-conference…was on the honor roll throughout high school, was a member of National Honor Society, named to the BWAC all-academic team for four years, was in the top 12 of her class, and was a recipient of the national scholar-athlete award from the United States Army Reserves…majoring in psychology…daughter of Rick and Jodie Sutton…born 9/25/91.
