2015: Appeared in 37 games for the Cardinals...at the plate, she tallied 18 runs and 4 stolen bases, including 31 hits while finishing the season with a batting percentage of .408 during her freshman campaign...in the field, she recorded 7 putouts.
Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Lakeland High School under coach Joe Alsup...earned four varsity letters in softball...sophomore, junior, and senior seasons was selected first team all-area, all-conference, all-district, and all-region...junior year earned first team all-county, All-State honorable mention, second team all-Metro Detroit area, an Oakland County top 50 softball player (#11), and received the LHS Coaches Choice Award...in her senior campaign was named first team all-Metro Detroit area, first team all-county, all-area player of the year, and an Oakland County top 50 softball player (#4)...named MVP and "Eagle of the Year" her senior season...was a four-year Scholar Athlete and academic All-State team member...major is undecided...daughter of Jim and Ila Burgess...born 5/14/96.
