Biography

2012: Played in 17 games, starting two in 2012…finished the season with a .300 batting average with six hits in 20 at-bats…had one run batted in…posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with five putouts…had two hits in three at-bats against Lake Superior (Apr. 18).

2011: Appeared in eight games for Saginaw Valley, starting one…had six at-bats on the season...had two at-bats against Lake Superior State (Apr. 6)…recorded one putout and an assist.

2010: Appeared in 15 games, starting in two for the Cardinals…had 15 at-bats for one run and two runs batted in…was fourth on the team with nine pinch hit at-bats…had a run batted in against Northern State (Mar. 10), and one hit in two at-bats against Wheeling Jesuit (Mar. 13).

2009: Redshirted.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Clarkston High School...named all-league and all-district all four years...named all-region for three years...named honorable mention All-State for one year and was twice named All-State...named captain and twice named MVP...was a member of student council for four years and a member of National Honors Society for two years...majoring in secondary education...daughter of Gregg and Kathy Smith...born 10/9/90.
