BAY CITY, Mich. -- SVSU Men's Soccer sophomore goalkeeper Connor Keane has been selected as the GLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week following a pair of regional victories. 

Keane registered a pair of wins for the No. 19 nationally-ranked Cardinals, collecting three saves in Friday's 3-1 victory at Quincy and notching his first shutout of the season with a save in Sunday's 3-0 win over Truman to lead the defensive effort.

Saginaw Valley hosts a pair of matches this upcoming weekend at Braddock Field, playing Alderson Broaddus on Friday at 2:30 p.m. before hosting Ohio Valley on Sunday in another 2:30 p.m. match.
