FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University golf team finished in third place at the University of Findlay Spring Invitational, held at the par-72, 7155 yard Red Hawk Run Golf Club in Findlay, Ohio. The Cardinals shot a two-day total of 632 (313-319), 16 strokes behind tournament winner Grand Valley State University.
Dieter Schulz was the top finisher for SVSU, shooting rounds of 75-79 to finish in a tie for seventh place. Rob Ronk tied for ninth, shooting rounds of 77-78 in the event. Jonathan Lange (T-24), Nate Kelly (T-27) and Brian King (65th) rounded out the scoring for SVSU.
The Cardinals are back in action April 18-19, at the Tiffin University Kyle Ryman Memorial.
